Happy 2014!
It’s hard to believe that 2014 is already here! It seems like just last week I was dealing with seasonal Spring allergies and getting my yard cleaned up and started mowing. Now it’s all about to start again!
Becky and I have had a great 2013, and we’re looking forward to 2014. We raised over $8,000 over on Praying For a Little Snow, and are hoping to get the rest of what we need within the next few months. Aside from that, we’ve had lots going on at the church, mainly that we’ve started bi-weekly youth meetings on Thursday nights. We’re looking to continue that into this year and are praying the Lord will bless it.
I’m setting a few personal goals as well – I want to read my Bible through again this year. I want to blog more this year. I want to take more photos this year.
Aside from these things, I look forward to working outside around the house again. I enjoy raising a garden and enjoy mowing and keeping the yard neat (now that I have a good mower and trimmer!). I plan to build a shed to keep the mower and other outdoor power tools in – I hope to start that in the next few weeks.
So, I don’t have any real resolutions, but this is what I plan for this year with the Lord’s help.
