Record Lows

I can’t remember a time I’ve seen it this cold outside. This morning I woke up and the thermometer read -3. We’re supposed to heat up to about 23 degrees today according to weather.com.

I went outside right then just to be able to say I’ve been out in below zero temperatures. Weird, I know. But like I said, I don’t remember a time it’s been this cold. Must be all that global warming they were warning us about.

I took a few photos around my uncle’s pond again. The whole thing is frozen this time. The ice crystals are beautiful – I’m going to have to go out a little later and get a few closer shots of them.

We’ll make it back above freezing temperatures tomorrow and start thawing out. We’ll be up near 60 on Saturday. Unbelievable!
